Not all Filipinos are on the side of Manny Pacquiao.

It turns out undefeated American superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr., who will fight Pacquiao on May 2 in Las Vegas, has his own crew of Filipinos on The Money Team (TMT).

Marikit ‘Kitchie’  Laurico is Mayweather's personal assistant and also serves as the organiser behind TMT.

Laurico, who moved to the US age 11, met Mayweather by chance and eventually became his personal assistant.

Before joining TMT, Laurico worked in marketing and publicity.

On Instagram recently, she posted her boss's new book, The Best Ever. It features never-seen-before images of Mayweather.

Videographer James Dayap is the other Filipino who's part of the team.

It’s been reported that Dayap used to work as Pacquiao's cameraman for several years.

It was his friendship with Pacquiao's former strength and conditioning trainer Alex Ariza that led him to join Mayweather's team.

Dayap says his boss is often misunderstood. In an interview with ABS-CBN, he said: “The Floyd Mayweather that I know, if you know Floyd, truly know him, you'll love him.

"He's a good guy, like his heart is pure. When he gives, he thinks about your family."

In a recent Instagram post, Dayap uploaded a video of Mayweather in one of his training sessions:
