Pele discharged from hospital in stable condition

Sao Paulo: Brazil football great Pele has been discharged from Sao Paulo’s Albert Einstein hospital, a statement said on Thursday.

“The patient is stable and will continue his treatment for a colon tumour that was identified in September,” the hospital statement said.
