Key Feature(s):UAE's tallest mountain, features one of the world's longest zip-line at 2,832 meters and offers hiking trails and scenic viewpoints
Jebel Jais, standing at 1,934 metres, is the highest peak in the UAE and a natural gem located in Ras Al Khaimah’s Hajar Mountains. The scenic drive to the summit winds through rugged terrain, offering breathtaking views of canyons and rocky landscapes that contrast with the country’s urban skylines. The mountain is a hub for adventure seekers, home to the world’s longest zipline — Jais Flight — which stretches nearly 3 km at speeds of up to 160 km/h. Visitors can also enjoy hiking trails, viewing decks, and the Jais Sledder, a mountain coaster that winds down the slopes at thrilling speeds. The cooler temperatures, especially between October and April, make it an ideal retreat from the desert heat. The newly opened Jais Viewing Deck Park offers panoramic spots perfect for photography and picnics. Whether you’re chasing an adrenaline rush or a peaceful mountain escape, Jebel Jais showcases a completely different side of the UAE — wild, rugged, and naturally beautiful.
