    Umm Al Quwain announces 2-day holiday for New Year

    All government departments in Umm Al Quwain will have a holiday on January 2, 2020

    The Ruler’s Court of Umm Al Quwain issued circular No.5 of 2019 on Sunday, regarding the New Year’s holiday for government departments in the emirate of Umm Al Quwain. The circular stated that work will be suspended in all government departments in the emirate of Umm Al Quwain on Wednesday January 1 and Thursday January 2, 2020.     The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has modified the timing of its services on New Year Eve and New Year 2020 holiday. The Red Line of Dubai Metro will be in operation from 5am on Tuesday, December 31 to 12 midnight Wednesday, January 1. The Green Line will start at 5.30am on Tuesday until 12 midnight of Wednesday.
