Khalid Al Malik has been instrumental in shaping Dubai’s built-environment through his leadership at Dubai Holding. In his role he oversees the group’s core real-estate assets including major master-developments in the Emirate, while also managing the company’s international footprint in markets such as Malta, Kochi and Morocco. Before assuming his current responsibilities, Al Malik held significant roles in both the public and private sectors: he served as Director of Operations at the then-Dubai Development & Investment Authority (now Dubai Industrial City), was CEO of Tatweer Company and later CEO of Dubai Industrial City, which provided him a strong foundation in infrastructure, urban development and strategic investment. Academically, Al Malik holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona (USA), with a double major in Management Information Systems and Production & Operations Management. He also earned an MBA from Zayed University (UAE) and is a graduate of the Government Leaders’ Programme under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Leadership Development initiative. Under his direction, Dubai Holding Real Estate has accelerated development across key master-plans and mixed-use communities, aligning with Dubai’s broader ambition of sustainable urban growth. In recognition of his influence, Al Malik was named among the “Most Impactful Real Estate Leaders 2025” by Forbes Middle East. Khalid Al Malik remains a central figure in Dubai’s real-estate transformation story — steering the nexus of design, development, investment and strategic partnerships that continue to define the city’s skyline and urban ecosystem.
