Dubai: It’s that time of the week again when parents look for activities to enjoy with children. We have put together a list of free children’s activities taking place in Dubai this weekend. From an immersive Korean art exhibition to fun workshops, here are eight events you can explore with your little ones.
1. Korea cubically imagined:
Does your child love the Korean pop band BTS? This weekend you can take them to watch an immersive virtual version of the band’s Las Vegas concert at the Theatre, Mall of the Emirates. The concert is part of an immersive art exhibition held by The Korea Creative Content Agency and the Korean Cultural Center in the UAE.
Children and parents can also learn about Korean art and culture during the exhibition. The “Korea: Cubically Imagined” exhibition is taking place at the Art Centre, Mall of Emirates in Dubai and sheds light on the essence of K-Culture, using state-of-the art technology in various colours inside a symbolic cube. You will need about two hours to enjoy the exhibition.

2. Kids weekend workshop at Golden Mile Galleria
Golden Mile Galleria in Palm Jumeirah is holding different kinds of free weekend workshops for children every weekend.
Kids from ages three to 11 can also enjoy face painting, play with the ‘bubble lady’, interact with a caricaturist, and a magician at the venue.

3. The Keeping Your Kids Busy Show is Back!
Head to Times Square Center, Dubai for a whole array of entertaining activities for children this weekend.
Meet the popular children's TV and Radio star, Magic Phil. Enjoy magic shows, music performances by West End Academy, theatrical performances by The Gaia Centre, face-painting, children's rides and more!
Parents can also meet kids activity providers across the Emirate to know more about extracurricular classes offered by the city offers for children from music to theatre and a lot more.
Parents can also sign their children up for free cooking classes and workshops.

4. Winter Camp Open Day at Fun Robotics
Get your child interested in robotics. Fun Robotics is offering two free courses on November 20. The first is called the Fun Club. It is a course for beginners from ages seven to nine that introduces children to basic Robotics and Programming, and strengthens their understanding of eight science and engineering practices.
The second is called Spike Prime. It’s a course for students from ages 10 and above, where students will have a more in-depth introduction to robotic components and functionality and program their robots using a block-based language.

5. Ripe Market, Al Barari
Parents and children can enjoy stalls of unique homegrown vendors including fashion, art, jewelry, homeware, tasty treats and much more. There will also be lots of different activities for the whole family to enjoy.

6. Free yoga class at Deira City Centre
Why not participate in the Dubai Fitness Challenge with a free yoga session this weekend. Parents and children above the age of 12 can head to Deira City Centre this weekend for a free yoga class.

7. World Children's Day at Mondoux
In celebration of World Children’s Day, Mondoux, a family friendly European eatery is giving away complimentary custom-made ice-cream bars to its young visitors up to the age of 12 at both locations, Dubai Creek Harbour and The Beach in JBR.
