Dubai: Inviting people home? These are the rules you need to adhere to

Planning to play host? There are very strict guidelines that need to be followed for social events.

Big gatherings are still not allowed, and even when you meet others physical distance should be maintained at all times.

Attendees should ensure social distance of at least two metres.

Things you should do - keep the event for less than four hours, use disposable cutlery, ensure proper ventilation at the venue.

What to avoid - buffets and party favours.

As a rule of thumb, stay home and avoid meeting others whenever you are experiencing flu-like symptoms.

If you are in the high risk category, it is advisable to avoid any social gatherings.
