IF IT’S YOUR BIRTHDAY TODAY

Sometimes obstacles are no more than that. However, those indicated by the Sun’s clashes with both practical Saturn and Neptune, the planet of vision, suggest that these challenges are there to focus your attention and, even more, to get you thinking about changes in existing arrangements or, even better, new ideas or options that, otherwise, you’d never have considered. The more you explore, the more you’ll learn and the better, and more rewarding, the decisions you make will be.

Aries March 20 – April 18

If you’re feeling restless, it’s no surprise. While you, as a fire sign, often get impatient when circumstances hold you back, this variety of restlessness is about broadening your horizons. That means venturing out into the unknown, by meeting new people, exploring new ideas and possibly going place you’ve never previously been to.

Taurus April 19 – May 19

Don’t be afraid of standing up to others, even those who’re intimidating. They come across that way, but they’re also anxious about certain matters. The problem is, those doubts are so different from yours, you can’t really believe that they struggle with them. But they do. More than you know.

Gemini May 20 – June 19

Sometimes obstacles are no more than that, difficulties that must be outwitted. However, between the two eclipses taking place during September’s first half, and your own ruling planet Mercury, being retrograde during the same period, chaos is inevitable. Disruptive as events are, ultimately, you’ll find they’re also amazingly informative.

Cancer June 20 – July 21

Often, when you disagree with others, the battle isn’t over who’s right or wrong but a matter of you attempting to explain your thinking. Rather than experience a frustrating repeat of this, simply detail your views once and ask if anybody has questions. Then, end all discussion. You’ll be amazed how powerful this makes you feel.

Leo July 22 – August 21

The potent link involving your ruler the Sun, visionary Neptune and the practical Saturn indicates the time has come to review existing arrangements and rethink your priorities. Recently your objectives have changed, so you’ll need to update certain plans. This may seem a distraction but, actually, it’s a priority.

Virgo August 22 – September 21

The current alliance between your ruler Mercury and the fortunate Jupiter, in Virgo, is powerful enough. However, because this is the second of two such meetings the first having been about ten days ago, you could feel overwhelmed. For now, say yes to everything. Then explore, knowing that you’ll narrow your focus later.

Libra September 22 – October 21

You’re just beginning an exciting new chapter of your life. However, this week’s as much about what needs to be undone, if not abandoned. While eliminating certain troublesome situations will be a relief, letting go of others could almost seem like a failure. Still, the moment they’re gone, you’ll feel a huge sense of relief.

Scorpio October 22 – November 20

No sign has a more powerful memory than Scorpio. This particularly applies to others’ unfair words or actions. You rarely forgive or forget. Before you put a recent, and upsetting, situation on that list, check out the facts. Clear cut as these seem, what you’ve learnt could be wrong.

Sagittarius November 21 – December 20

Of the twelve signs, you probably struggle least with the unexpected twists triggered by Mercury’s retrograde cycle. Still, because its position is accenting plans, some longstanding, even your easygoing nature could be challenged. The trick is, where possible, to make plans flexible so when those changes arise, they can be easily rethought.

Capricorn December 21 – January 19

Nobody’s better at coping with complications or setbacks which, judging by the current tricky planetary setup, are inevitable. In your case, however, these could prove unexpectedly informative. Somebody has been trying to keep certain potentially embarrassing facts under wraps. Unexpected, and convenient, events reveal these for all to see.

Aquarius January 20 – February 18

Bizarre as it seems, you could well find that somebody who firmly refused even to discuss one particular matter only recently is now eager to chat about it, and at length. Tempting as it is to ask why they’ve had a change of heart, don’t even think of it. For now, be happy there’s been a breakthrough.

Pisces February 19 – March 19

Obviously it would be wonderful to predict exactly what the powerful Pisces eclipsed Full Moon, in about two weeks’ time, on 16 September, will bring. But, by then circumstances will have changed so much that even simple elements of arrangements won’t last. Live one day at a time. It’s the best option.
