SATURDAY 18 JANUARY

Aries March 20 – April 19

Letting somebody else make a decision that should be up to you may be annoying. Or it will be, until you realise the individual in question is more knowledgeable about the matter than you. So much that, since you’ve an opportunity to learn from them, you could ask what’s behind their thinking.

Taurus April 20 – May 20

It’s not that you’ve been putting off conversations about tricky issues as much as you’ve been unsure what to say. But judging by the next few days’ planetary activity, you’ll have no choice but to discuss these. Bear in mind that others don’t know any more than you do. That should make things easier.

Gemini May 21 – June 20

During periods of rapid change and growth, such as this is, even simple arrangements are likely to go through several versions before anything can be settled for good. Knowing that, not only should you organise plans so they can be altered easily, it’s the ideal time to experiment with new and untried ideas.

Cancer June 21 – July 21

Only recently, if you’d been asked whether you’d be willing to alter certain longstanding arrangements, you’d not only have said no, you’d have been shocked at the thought. Now, however, things have changed. You’re not only considering these changes, with every passing day you’re becoming increasingly convinced that they’re a very good idea.

Leo July 22 – August 22

Every Full Moon brings feelings to a head. Yet, still, it may take several days for you to realise the depth and significance of the emotions stirred by the one that took place just last Thursday. Still, because these are about the insights that come with reflection, there’s no need for swift action.

Virgo August 23 – September 22

When there’s a dilemma, large or small, you’ll waste little time in discussion. Rather, you’ll think things through then do whatever’s needed. At present, however, this approach could lead to problems. Certain individuals have a very different view of what’s best and, if you don’t take their ideas into account, will cause serious problems.

Libra September 23 – October 22

Don’t make the mistake of assuming that just because you’ve talked over plans with others, they’ll remember what was said. You’re far more attentive to such matters said than most. While ordinarily, this isn’t important, now it is. Knowing that, ensure all discussions begin with a review of the topics you’ve previously covered.

Scorpio October 23 – November 21

Being in control of pivotal elements of your life matters, a lot. Yet, recently, in several situations you’ve had to compromise, if not leave decisions to others. While in some cases you’re happy with these, several concern you. Relax. Between now and the end of January you’ll have ample opportunity to alter these.

Sagittarius November 22 – December 20

The phrase “agree to disagree” has always seemed to you a compromise. Yet in at least one situation, it’s clear your views and those of others are so far apart that further debate would achieve nothing. Keep trying. Despite the gulf between your views, you’ll find a way to do what needs doing.

Capricorn December 21 – January 19

Only the rare Capricorn will plunge into arrangements when short of facts. Yet events are forcing you to move swiftly. Worrying as this seems, many of those around you get involved in even pivotal commitments while lacking information. Risky as it seems, take a chance. It might work far better than you imagine.

Aquarius January 20 – February 17

Things are moving swiftly, which means you have little time to devote to the refining plans and, still less, an opportunity to discuss them with others. Knowing that, organise arrangements in such a way that those who might want to make changes can do so, and without causing dramas.

Pisces February 18 – March 19

Nobody would say you’re stubborn. Actually, you can be amazingly inflexible in situations where you’re sure you’re right but, but do it so charmingly that nobody notices. Now, however, that tendency to stick to your beliefs could lead to serious clashes. If you can’t welcome changes, at least be willing to consider them.
