Haifa quits Fawazir Ramadan, creating lots of trouble.
Haifa walks out
Haifa Wehbe has made a last minute decision to quit filming Fawazir Ramadan (Ramadan Riddles). The singer was selected to act and sing in the 30-episode yearly show after much give and take. She snatched the part from many competitors who appeared to be more capable. Now Haifa has given no reasons for her sudden decision to leave except that her schedule is already too busy. But the singer's decision to withdraw with the start of Ramadan so close may have devastating consequences for the show's producers who will have almost no time to find another actress and complete the show in time. Haifa, why didn't you speak up earlier?
Myriam refuses to sing
Fans were waiting for Wael Kfoury and Myriam Faris to take the stage last month in Damascus. However Kfoury had to sing by himself as Myriam refused to go on stage! Faris' manager went up on stage and told everyone that Myriam would not be singing because she hadn't been fully paid for the night. It seems the organisers of the concert had promised Myriam a certain level of payment and did not honour their word. Apparently the promotional pictures used for Myriam were not the right size either. Thankfully there were no issues with Kfoury who went on to sing as planned!
