Taste of Abu Dhabi chef line-up announced
The culinary event from November 10 to 12 will see international celebrities such as British restaurateur and chef Ed Baines among others
Taste of Abu Dhabi returns with a line-up of international celebrity chefs from November 10 to 12 at Zayed Sports City.
Some of the region’s favourites including Mohammad Orfali, Deema Hajhawi and Tarek Ebrahim will be headlining the festival for the first time, with demonstrations and challenges at the Chef’s Theatre. International chefs include Indian chef Sanjeev Kapoor, British chef and restauranteur Ed Baines and returnees Jenny Morris and Josh Stanzl.
Teatro, Sho Cho, Flooka, Bu Trinity!, Tamba, Punjab Grill, Catch, Original Fusion, Loca, Velocity, Melius, JW Steakhouse, Al Fanar, Bakers Kitchen and The Sportsman’s Arms will be some of the local eateries participating.
According to event organisers Turret Media, they will see a larger visitor turnout this year than last year’s almost 14,000.
On November 10 Swedish pop sensation Bjorn Again will perform favourite classic Abba songs. And if you can’t leave the kids behind, an all-new Kids Zone will offer activities including a family treasure hunt to keep them occupied.
The festival will run from 4-11pm on November 10; 12-11pm on November 11; and 12-10pm on the last day. Advance tickets from Dh65 are available at tasteabudhabi.com
