Dubai: High Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited the Dubai Air Show and received a personal-guided tour of Emirates’ First Class private suites.
Emirates unveiled the new interiors for its Boeing 777 aircraft, and with floor to ceiling sliding doors and design features inspired by the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the new suites offer up to 40 square feet of personal space.
Shaikh Mohammad also viewed the new Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft that was recently deployed by Flydubai, as part of its fleet of 76-modern aircraft.
Shaikh Mohammad continued his tour of the exhibition by visiting the US pavilion, which included the latest in American civil and military advancements, where he was briefed by the pavilion’s organisers about the various defence, civil and aviation technologies on display, notably various types of missiles and military aircraft.
Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, also visited the Air Show and caught up with his niece First Officer Shaikha Moza Bint Marwan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
Shaikha Moza, a member of Dubai’s ruling family, flew her first passenger flight last March, and has been reaching for the skies ever since.
