An exclusive interview with chef Gordon Ramsay, only in tomorrow's tabloid!
There are growing whispers in some of the world's best kitchens: Is Gordon Ramsay — superstar chef — spreading himself too thin?
The whispers started gaining ground after news that Ramsay's Chelsea restaurant tumbled from the top-spot of a prestigious gourmet guide recently. But Gordon Ramsay himself is quite sure that he is on solid ground.
In an exclusive interview to tabloid!, he said: “I hope that it's clear from the restaurants in the UK and abroad that our standards are not slipping. I have a phenomenal team working for me who are now winning and retaining Michelin stars of their own.
“My restaurant in Chelsea is still the only three Michelin starred restaurant in London and our pub, The Narrow, was recently nominated for an award for London's top pub. We've also got a two-month waiting list for a table at our New York restaurant.''
With a string of restaurants, including Verre at Dubai's Hilton Creek, cookbooks and endless television deals, Ramsay is said to have made more than Dh500 million. But, it would seem, opinion on Ramsay across Dubai is varied and comes in two forms — you either love him or you hate him.
