Aloft Hotel's iftar tent is bound to make you ask for seconds
Spread out in an expansive buffet, the fare at Aloft Hotel's iftar tent is bound to make you ask for seconds.
Starting off the iftar with almond-dates, creamy laban and peach-infused tamarhindi juice, the meal is a treat from the very beginning. The salad bar has many favourites, and I would definitely recommend the fresher-than-fresh vine leaves.
The seafood stands out within the main course, specifically the seafood macaroni and grilled hammour. The chicken okra and the lamb ouzi are also succulent, leaving a lasting taste.
Dessert is mainly Arabic sweets and nuts, but leaving without savouring the delicious umm ali would be almost sinful.
So feel free to help yourself to the usual Arabian dishes you have had over and over again elsewhere; the unique taste at this buffet will make you want to come back for more.
