Popular family destination Global Village is one of the top spots to visit for not only some fun but also for food, culture and enteratinment. The outdoor attraction is in Season 27 and there are some new features that have been introduced. Visitors can book a private cabana that is open air and situated across the UAE pavilion. At the Global Village, audiences can witness 40,000 shows such as performers and concerts.

There’s also the colourful and expansive Miracle Garden to be explored this season. The flora and the fauna is dazzling and will also help you make the most of the upcoming pleasant weather. New attractions have bloomed on the largest natural flower garden in the world. Visitors will have access to a freshly renovated amphitheatre and observation deck.

Aventura Parks: The Middle East's largest outdoor adventure park is home to a number of ziplines and trampolines that the kids will love. This weekend, check out the two new bungee trampolines at the Nature Chill Out Village for a jumping good time.

An indoor rainforest experience is nothing to be sneezed at, especially when it is located in the middle of a city full of skyscrapers. In Dubai, four-storey origami style glass bio-dome called The Green Planet, is home to more than 3,000 plants and animals and offers up a number of fun run-ins for the kids. This month, the venue welcomed flying foxes – one of the biggest bat species in the world capable of sustained flight.

For a relaxed beach day: Khor Fakkan, Sharjah: As the winter season unwinds bringing with it cooler days, it’s a perfect time to head to Khor Fakkan with its 3km sandy beach lined with palm trees and spotted with shops and eateries. Relax and see the warm waters of the Gulf of Oman as you ride by, or if you are feeling particularly adventurous, take note – there are plenty of adventures to be had here. You can play beach football as the sun sets or try one of the seaside swings for that perfect Insta-worthy, breezy shot. If you’re feeling adventurous, try parasailing off the back of a speedboat.

Sharjah Safari Park: More than 50,000 animals call this space home. The newly-opened safari park is the largest safari park outside Africa! Among the wildlife you can spot gazelles, giraffes, African wild turtles, crocodiles, lions, rhinos, African rock python, elephants and flamingos – take your binoculars along.

Abu Dhabi’s newest cultural and outdoor adventure attraction, located at the foot of Jebel Hafeet Mountain, Al Ain’s Jebel Hafeet Desert Park reopened for visitors on November 1, 2020. It offers guests a mix of history, culture, and stunning natural landscapes. The park also offers beautiful natural surroundings for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy, stretching through 9km of captivating terrain around the base of Jebel Hafeet, one of the highest mountains in the UAE. Three shelters within the grounds are perfect spots for a picnic, while numerous shaded benches give hikers and cyclists places to sit back and enjoy the views.

Dubai Safari Park gives UAE residents and tourists yet another refreshing outdoor venue to explore and enjoy. Home to over 2,600 animals from different species in the new season, the park also offers attractive packages to be availed. The safari tour is informative and educational too, going by the many new additions this year. The park reopens on September 27. The Wildlife attraction to also promote preservation of endangered species.
