We have the top top indoor entertainment and newly opened attractions for families to enjoy over the Eid Al Fitr weekend, highlighted by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE).

Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO, Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), said: “Eid in Dubai-Eid Al Fitr is a key date in the Dubai Retail Calendar, as the city will see an increase in tourists and residents celebrating the joyous holiday, and there’s nowhere better to celebrate than in Dubai’s malls. In anticipation, retailers are preparing to offer a host of entertainment options that will leave families spoilt for choice, and keep them busy all weekend-long.”


Roaming Eid Entertainment

Head to City Centre Deira to experience a giant walkable piano keyboard or to City Centre Mirdiff to catch stilt-walking ballerinas. At The Outlet Village, Ibn Battuta Mall and Dragon Mart 2, take in a wearable art show, or watch freestyling footballers at Mall of the Emirates. Dubai Festival City Mall will be home to a silent clown with a mysterious moving box.


Peter Pan Live

Visit the China Court stage at Ibn Battuta Mall to immerse yourself in the wonders of Neverland with the Peter Pan Live show. Join Peter, Tinkerbell, Captain Hook and friends as they embark on a new and exciting adventure.

The free show will run from the first day of Eid Al Fitr until 23 June.


Eideya at Dubai Mall

Visit Dubai Mall to watch a traditional Eideya concept being brought to life throughout the day from 14 to 16 June. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to meet Sheibitna, a grandfatherly figure who celebrates Eid Al Fitr with children by telling stories and sharing seasonal treats.


My Little Pony Live Show

Meet the characters from Ponyville at Dragon Mart 2 this Eid Al Fitr. The My Little Pony Live Show is a 20-minute interactive, musical adventure featuring the lovable characters of Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Spike and Applejack.

The free live show will run three times a day from the first day of Eid until 24 June, with a special parade taking place over the three days of Eid Al Fitr weekend.


Children’s City

Head down to Children’s City at Creek Park to “Make this Eid a memorable one.” Children’s City encourages kids to investigate, explore, discover and learn about the world we live in through the earth science gallery, nature centre and space exploration centre.

Visit on the second and third days of Eid from 4pm to 7pm. Admission is Dh10 for children, Dh14 for adults and Dh40 for a family package that includes two adults and two children.


Modhesh World

Modhesh World is back for its 19th edition and keep the thrill alive at the Amusement Park or enjoy amazing live shows, such as the Wonderland Parade with Alice. Also make sure to visit the Hello Kitty zone with its traditional Japanese gardens and activities. Modhesh World will run from 7 June to 25 August across Halls 1 – 8 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Opening hours are from 10am to midnight. General admission is Dh25 and children under 3 are free.


VR Park

Lose yourself in a fully immersive virtual reality experience at the VR Park, new to Dubai Mall. Challenge reality with your friends and family through mind-blowing experiences that include horror, adventure, sport and more, with activities for all ages.

The park is open from 10am to 11pm on weekdays, and 10am to 1am on weekends. Entry is free, but credit needs to be purchased in advance to play the games.


IceBykes

Experience the thrill and joy of gliding on ice with a fun new way of experiencing ice skating and cycling at the same time with IceBykes, exclusive to the country at Dubai Ice Rink at The Dubai Mall.

This new experience will open in June and costs Dh80 for a 30-minute session. Dubai Ice Rink will be open from 10 am to 11.45 pm.
