British baking sensation Paul Hollywood is heading to Dubai this December, as part of the first BBC Good Food Show to take place in the city.

Hollywood, a first-timer in the UAE, will be accompanied by fellow culinary experts James Martin, Andy Bates, and the locally-based Silvena Rowe for a special winter edition of the show, scheduled to take place between December 17 and 19 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Hollywood is known for hosting the phenomenally successful contest The Great British Bake Off, which started its sixth season this month.

The show will follow its typical UK format, including the show’s popular Supertheatre feature, which sees celebrity chefs cooking their favourite dishes in front of a live crowd.

“As the first international edition of the BBC Good Food Show, the Dubai event will have an international flavour as well as a winter theme. We are delighted to be bringing the tried and tested successful formula of the BBC Good Food Shows to Dubai for the first time,” said Laura Biggs, managing director of BBC Good Food Shows, in a press release.
