‘A Man Called Ove’ screens at Vox Cinemas
The moving comedy from Sweden will show as part of Diff 365@VOX
A Man Called Ove, a moving Swedish comedy by Hannes Holm, will be the third movie to screen as part of independent cinema initiative Diff 365@VOX. The film will show at Vox Cinemas, Mall of the Emirates, inside a dedicated theatre (cinema 9) from May 18 until May 31 at cinema nine.
A Man Called Ove, based on the eponymous 2012 book, is about a retiree with a temper who has given up on life. However, an unlikely friendship changes everything.
The film was nominated for two Oscar awards. Tickets, which are regularly priced, are available online and at the MOE box office.
DIFF 365@VOX is a year-round Dubai International Film Festival initiative. Future titles include Django (June 1-14) and Maudie (June 15-28).
