Food blogger Kavitah Radhakrishnan shows us how to create magic in just five minutes
All purpose flour: 1.25 cup
Oil: 1/2 cup
Dry fruits, canned cherry, walnut, badam, dates, prunes,etc: 1 cup
Water: 1/2 cup
Coco powder: 3 teaspoon
Baking soda: 1/2 teaspoon
Honey or dates syrup: 1/4 cup
Sugar: 1/2 cup
1. In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave half cup water for one minute.
2. Soak dry fruits, walnuts, cashew, dates, prunes for 5 minutes in this water.
3. In a separate bowl, mix together all purpose flour, baking soda and coca powder. Sift three times and keep it aside.
4. Take the soaked dry fruits, add honey, sugar and oil and mix well until the sugar is dissolved.
5. Add sifted flour mixture to the honey-sugar dryfruits mixture and fold flour mixture well to prepare cake batter.
6. In microwave-safe dish, equally divide this mixture into two dishes and microwave for 5 minutes.
7. Let the mixturesit for 5 minutes and then keep in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
