1. Ashiana

Ashiana, by award-winning Indian chef Vineet Bhatia, has created a set Indian menu for iftar. Starters include chaat, bhel puri and samosas. There’s also tandoori paneer, chutni chicken tikka, grilled meat and a variety of curries for the main course. Signature desserts include white chocolate samosas, boondi ka ladoo and kulfi. Live entertainment also available.

2. Rang Mahal

This restaurant by celebrity chef Atul Kochhar is offering an 11-dish iftar with a twist. The a la carte menu is complete with tandoors, curries and biryanis. Only for Ramadan, the traditional Umm Ali gets a Hyderabadi makeover, served with special Ramadan drinks.

3. Mahec

The recently renovated restaurant’s iftar buffet includes soups, kebabs, grills, curries, biryani, dessert and fresh juices. They also offer a suhour, which is a la carte.

4. Kabab Bistro

Located in one of the inner lanes of Dubai’s Karama area, this small restaurant serves a variety of Parsi and North Indian dishes for its buffet. Popular dishes include sali boti, spicy meat or chicken gravy served with chips; curry chaawal, a thick coconut prawn or chicken curry served with rice; and traditional Parsi custard for dessert.

5. AB’s Absolute Barbecues

Known for its grills, Absolute Barbecue is offering from its menu a choice of salads, snacks, grills, biryanis and desserts for iftar to choose from. Their kandhari kofta curry and chicken dum biryani are popular dishes, along with the shahi tukda, a Hydrabadi dessert made from bread.
