Talabat has launched a new service that will change the way beach lovers and park picnickers enjoy their al fresco dining. Available now, this exciting new feature will enable customers to order their top takeaways directly to their favourite picnicking spots at the park or beach. Talabat has partnered with Smart Palm to create delivery hotspots at Umm Suqeim 2 Beach and Zabeel Park, where drivers can meet hungry diners to deliver delicious food. Each site has three Smart Palm location spots, giving outdoor diners multiple delivery locations to choose from. Restaurants delivering to Talabat at the Beach and Talabat at the Park include Chin Chin, Manoushe Street, Applebee's and more!

Jumeirah Beach is hosting Street Beats, a 10-day street music festival featuring more than 600 performances by 60 local and international artists from over 20 countries. Set to run from 15 to 24 March, the event will transform JBR into an open-air stage, with performers taking over the destination with catchy tunes and beats created on varied professional and impromptu instruments from violins to buckets. Music: World Doctors Orchestra
The World Doctors Orchestra will perform for one night only at Dubai Opera, under the patronage of HH Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Founded in 2007, the orchestra is made up of more than 100 physicians from over 50 countries around the world, who exchange their white coats for musical instruments. The orchestra raises funds for medical aid projects, and in Dubai, the concert will be raising money for the Al Jalila Foundation.

Art: A new exhibition comes to town
La Galerie Nationale is hosting a new exhibition, which will feature works on canvas from famed Moroccan writer and Goncourt prize-winner Tahar Ben Jelloun. The exhibition, called ‘Cultural Crossroads’ represents Ben Jelloun’s first show in the Middle East and also marks the partnership with the Institut de Monde Arabe, with 2018 being the official year of UAE-Franco Relations. The Dubai show will feature more than 20 works on canvas; delightful expressions of natural joy in bright, engaging colours; flowers, butterflies and bird-like forms.
