Born of a Lebanese father and a Filipino mum, young superstar Yasmien Kurdi is taking a break from her hectic schedule to be with her dad in Lebanon. She will spend the holidays with her father and granddad in Beirut.

Yasmien has just finished filming Bahay Kubo, one of the entries to the year-ending Metro Manila Film Festival. After her vacation, she will resume taping for another drama series on television, Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita, where she reprises a role popularised by megastar Sharon Cuneta.
