ETHIAD ADDS NEW DAILY FLIGHT TO KUALA LUMPUR FROM ABU DHABI
From July 15, Etihad Airways will add a new daily flight between Abu Dhabi and Kuala Lumpur to double its daily service. Flight EY413 will depart from Abu Dhabi at 11.05am and arrive at 10.40pm in Kuala Lumpur. The return flight from Kuala Lumpur will depart at 3.25am and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 6.30am the next morning. EXPLORE ARAB ART AT SINGAPORE ART MUSEUM
Singapore will host Terms & Conditions, an exhibition that explores understanding of Arab art across differing cultural context, from June 28 for eight weeks at the Singapore Art Museum (SAM). The show, co-organised by SAM and Barjeel Art Foundation, with works being drawn from private collections such as the Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art in Doha, the Abraaj Group Art Prize Collection, Musée national de l’histoire et des cultures de l’immigration in Paris, as well as contributions from UAE’s Shaikh Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi’s Barjeel Art Foundation. EMIRATES’S MAIDEN FLIGHT TO LOS ANGELES FROM DUBAI
Emirates will fly the A380 from Dubai to Los Angeles from December 2, its first United States west coast destination and the airline’s longest route in terms of distance. EK215, the daily A380 service will depart Dubai at 8.20am and arrive at Tom Bradley International Terminal at 12.50pm (local time). EK216 will depart Los Angeles at 4pm (local time) and arrive in Dubai at 7.50pm the following day. The arrival time in Los Angeles will offer passengers easy connections to other destinations such as Phoenix, Las Vegas, San Diego and Honolulu. This service will complement the double daily A380 flights between Dubai and New York’s John F. Kennedy airport and becomes the 23rd A380 destination on the Emirates global route network.
