The jewel in May's crown

Fans of Lebanese singer May Hariri can now buy jewellery with her name on it. The singer has just signed a contract with a Kuwaiti company which will soon launch the label - Joaillerie MH (Jewellery M.H) - in the Arab world and in Europe. The first exhibition will open in Kuwait after Ramadan.

May's involvement with the company goes beyond merely lending her name to the collection which includes jewels and watches. She will also be a partner in the company.

Meanwhile, May is preparing to shoot for an Egyptian movie, written especially for her. The Lebanese singer is to star opposite a famous Egyptian actor. In fact, May is now in Cairo, after a tour that took her to Amman, Damascus, Kuwait, Paris, Cannes and Monaco. In some of these cities, she recorded TV programmes that will be aired during Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr.
