Shakespeare’s play in Indian context

Here’s your chance to see Shakespeare’s celebrated romantic comedy Twelfth Night with an Indian flavour. Hindi play Piya Behrupiya, an adaptation of Twelfth Night directed by Atul Kumar, will be staged at Centrepoint Theatre at Ductac on February 6 and 7.

The play, set against the backdrop of rural India, will bring to life the tale of Olivia, her quest for love and the hilarious mistaken identities.

Tickets cost Dh150, 250 and Dh350. The February 6 performance is at 7.30pm. The second day will have two shows, at 3.30pm and 7.30pm. Tickets are available online at www.ductac.org
