The 2007 Aerosmith Tour will include a May 31 Dubai concert. "We will announce all event details including ticket pricing, timings and location within the coming weeks" said Thomas Ovesen, General Manager, Mirage Promotions.
"Presenting one of the greatest rock bands ever to a Middle Eastern audience is a great honour and we look forward to close the spring season with a sell-out rock extravaganza," continued Ovesen.
The Dubai date is part of the now announced 2007 European Tour.
Aerosmith are set to return to Europe for the first time in eight years in June of this year.
Fresh from their US tour - supported by Motley Crue- and on the back of the 2006 album release of The Very Best Of... the
band will warm up their European leg of their tour with select dates in Dubai and India.
Mirage Promotions is currently selling tickets to the 25,000 capacity Shakira concert at Dubai Autodrome on March 23 2007.
In other rock news, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee will host the Dubai Bikeweek in early April.
