Bermuda shorts

This is for the girl who doesn't like her thighs but loves to show her calves. One of the hot spring and summer fashions is Bermuda shorts. Also known as long shorts or walking shorts. They're not casual like super shorts, and they're not as long as your cropped pants or the new gaucho pants. They are just in-between.

How to wear them

- If the Bermuda shorts are in suit material, pair them with a matching blazer for a suited look.

- Create a boho style by wearing a linen top tied in the back and jewelled sandals.

- If you are more into the traditional look, try wearing a basic tee-shirt with a cardigan and ballerina flats.

Gauchos

Gaucho pants are no longer just for the cowboys of Brazil. You have the femininity of a skirt with the comfort of pants. Gauchos are also called culottes.

How to wear them

- Gauchos are such a smart idea - a combo of skirts/pants/shorts/crops - that you'll wonder why they ever went out of style in the first place.

- Stiffer fabrics - twill, heavy cord, denim will give you more fullness.

- Balance the fullness of a gaucho with a fitted top or one with waist definition: a body-skimming jacket, a tucked-in blouse with chunky belt, a belted cardigan layered over a tee-shirt, a shrug-over camisole.

- Gauchos look great with tall boots.

- Wedges - also balance out the full silhouette.

- Avoid delicate heels, strappy sandals or stiletto pumps for gauchos.

- Layer on a long scarf wrapped around your neck for a cute casual look.
