Aquarius magazine's Charlene Stubbs on why she's undergoing The Life Challenge

Name: Charlene Stubbs
Age: 31
BMI: 22.6
Height: 176cm
Weight: 70kg
My overall aim is to… feel healthier.
The 3 changes I most want to make…
1. eat meals packed with nutritional value
2. enjoy regular exercise – without having to drag myself kicking and screaming to do it
3. have more confidence in my own abilities.
The area of The Life Challenge I’m most worried about is… My own commitment levels. I tend to have enthusiasm for about two weeks and then get bored very easily. I find it very hard to stay motivated, especially with exercise, so I am hoping that our experts will have some techniques to help me stay focused.
The area of The Life Challenge I’m most looking forward to is… The life coaching with Shana. I’ve never tried anything like this before, so I can’t wait to see where that journey will take me.
The most difficult part of The Life Challenge for me will be… the organisation around meal times, so planning ahead instead of dealing with what I’m going to eat after my body is already actually hungry. I’m terrible at planning my weekly meals! I also think finding the time to add exercise to my day will be challenging. I know I’m already making excuses but I have the worry that my evenings are going to be swallowed up.
