Ice Surprises Week starts.

Dubai Summer Surprises' Ice Surprises week, which starts Thursdsay and runs through until next Wednesday, will have 29 educational, cultural and sports activities, in addition to various entertainment shows and competitions.

The opening ceremony of Ice Surprises week will be held at Hall No. 6 of the Dubai World Trade Centre at 7.30pm, and will include a preview of the many activities that will take place over the week.

He also pointed out that DEWA was keen to accept new ideas for the Ice Surprises week. This year there are many main activities such as Arabian Ice City, Shatoor Tents, Thulooj Dubai & Marhaba Saif Dubai Programmes by Ajman TV, Marching Carnival, Plastic Ice Show, Snow Man Show, Ice Maze, etc.

"DEWA, in its endeavour to allocate various number of activities for the happiness of the children, has introduced for them: Magic Academy Workshop, Fun Science Workshop, etc. which aim at entertaining and educating children concurrently," Al Tayer said.

Many activities and shows will be presented by the professionals such as Snow Magician Show, the Ice Princess Show and Ice Fishing Activities.

The activities will also include TV quiz and the winners will be awarded material and cash prizes.
