Happy for dad

News of Gabby Concepcion's return to show business caught many by surprise. The elusive, semi-retired actor, now a successful real estate agent in San Francisco, caught many off-guard when he had a brief phone patch interview over Sunday top-rater SOP.

News quickly spread throughout showbusiness. Gabby is, of course, still one of the country's best actors, even if he was involved in an awards scam several years back. One of those who expressed delight over Gabby's return is none other than KC Concepcion, Gabby's daughter by megastar Sharon Cuneta.

Our Manila mole says KC had an inkling about her dad's plans, having met him in San Francisco from Paris on her way back to Manila to start her showbiz career. But KC said she didn't know exactly how and when her father is going to do it.

KC hopes, though, that her father will have a successful comeback and wishes one day they are able to make a movie together. When asked what her mum's reaction would be about her dream movie, she said she could not speak for her mother (Gabby and Sharon are not in the best of terms), but said there shouldn't be any problem.
