Maya is in love?

Lebanese singer Maya Nasri, who moved to Egypt to start an acting career, will be seen in a new movie, Bambozia, directed by Ihab Lamai.

Talking about her role, Nasri said: "I loved the idea of the movie. I play the role of a history teacher in a country ruled by a dictator. I teach the kids to resist occupation and explaining to them what freedom means."

Meanwhile, gossips are saying that Nasri and director Lamai are in love and plan to get married soon.

Last year Nasri released her album, Jayi Al Waqt (Time Will Come) and recently acted as a Mossad agent in TV series, Rijal Al Hasm.

Razan to play Tamim

Rumour has it that Lebanese TV host Razan Mograbi is all set to play the role of Suzanne Tamim in her next movie to be filmed in Egypt. Tamin, a Lebanese singer, was found murdered in her apartment at Jumeirah Beach Residences in Dubai last year.

Mograbi, who just finished shooting the Egyptian version of TV game show Deal or no Deal, will also be the hosting the Arabic version of Perfect Bride to be shown this winter on LBCI.
