That's what Pakistan's Secondary School Certificate Part-II examination results show

Girls outshone boys in Pakistan's Secondary School Certificate Part-II examinations conducted by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad.

Girl students not only got overall top positions in the UAE but also stood first in their respective schools. The results for SCC-Part II were announced on Tuesday.

Pakistan Education Academy, Dubai

Students at the Pakistan Education Academy in Dubai secured the top three positions in the UAE, according to results received by Gulf News from various Pakistani schools in the country.

Mariam Shabbir won the overall first position in the UAE by obtaining 967 marks out of a total of 1050 marks.

Nazia Jabeen with 956 stood second while Muhammad Fahad with 946 marks stood third in the UAE.

The school showed 100 per cent results. Out of a total of 124 students including 64 boys and 60 girls, 19 got A-I grade, 31 got A grade while 44 students secured B grade.

In the humanities group Sahresh Turba, who scored 827 marks, came first in the school followed by Rida Haider with 806 and Razia Begum with 797 marks.

Pakistan Islamia Higher Secondary School, Sharjah

Some 172 students from Pakistan Islamia Higher Secondary School Sharjah appeared in the examination.

In the science group, Mariam Tariq with 941 marks stood first in the school while Shamim Ismail with 924 and Abida Zulfiqar with 894 marks ranked second and third in the school.

In the humanities group, Muhammad Shahzad with 808 marks stood first followed by Shahnaz Shah with 733 and Yusaira Bint Farukh with 722 marks at second and third positions.

Pakistan Islamia Higher Secondary School, Ajman

Pakistan Islamia Higher Secondary School in Ajman recorded 97 per cent success.

In the science stream, Lubna with 941 marks got the top position in the school followed by Sana Shaukat with 908 and Abida Abdul Karim with 897 marks.

In the humanities group, Iqra Abdullah with 723 marks ranked first followed by Sana Gohar with 711 marks and Madeeha Safeer with 689 marks at second and third positions.

Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Arab-Pakistan School, Abu Dhabi

Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Arab-Pakistan School in Abu Dhabi also showed 91 per cent pass results. The school improved its results by 15 per cent over the last year.

Out of the total of 207 students appearing in the examination, 189 got through.

In the science group, Komal Ali obtained 934 marks and stood first in the school followed by Murtaza Ali Sundhu with 928 marks and Rabia Bahauddin with 917 marks.

In the general science group, Sahar Butt with 818 marks ranked first followed by Mehak Noor (813) and Manal Kazmi (803) at second and third positions respectively.

In the humanities group, Tamkinat Butt with 821 marks stood first in the school followed by Fareea Akhlaq (760) and Sumbal Nasir (731).

Pakistan Islamia Higher Secondary School, Al Ain

The school recorded a 71 per cent pass percentage. A total of 71 students including 44 boys and 27 girls appeared in the examination.

Gohar Riaz with 928 marks stood first in the school followed by Sundus Ashraf with 920 marks and Sameera Omer with 913 marks.

Pakistan Islamia Higher Secondary School, Fujairah

Twenty of 30 students who appeared from Pakistan Islamia Higher Secondary School Fujairah, passed the examination.

Amina Mehmood Bhatti with 800 marks stood first in the school followed by Badriya Dadullah with 777 marks and Syed Muhammad with 716 marks.
