Egyptian singer Shirine Abdelwahab was in Beirut recently to shoot a new music video.

But two days after her arrival in Lebanon, Abdelwahab visited a local hospital for plastic surgery, more specifically, a nose job.

Another star recently spoke to the press about her plastic surgery.

In an interview, Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram confessed that she had had three separate rhinoplasty procedures.

"I am not against plastic surgery. We are in the 21st century and image is as important as sound," she said.

Ajram admitted however, that she finds people who have plastic surgery to look like her strange, she said : "This is a bit scary. Imagine, there is a young man who underwent 17 surgeries in order to look like me. He even calls himself Nancy".

Ajram recently completed the filming of the music video for her song Mashi Haddi, directed by Leila Kanaan. The shooting at Mount Lebanon and Beirut took three days to complete.

Lebanese artist Najwa Karam, who looks younger now than when she started her career more than fifteen years ago, denied having undergone any plastic surgery, but admitted that she regularly has Botox injections.

Karam said, "at the end, we will all have to go to surgery" in order to stay young.
