Get ready for summer
In this issue of Notes we have prepared a list of summer jobs and internships available to you. We would like to give you this opportunity to explore your options and try spending your summer break in a different, yet beneficial way.
Some of you have already planned their vacations and some others are still in the process, while for those who haven't yet, Notes is trying to give you a helping hand.
It is not only students who plan for their summer break. Many people try to escape the heat and go on a relaxing family trip, while others plan to make use of the time and join summer courses.
As for Notes, we are trying to use this summer break to plan new things, especially altered to suit your taste, to be implemented in the new semester.
The Notes team consists of three reporters, Manal Ismail, Maysam Ali and Amelia Naidoo (I have listed them from the oldest in the team to the newest), who come from different cultures and backgrounds.
They all try to appeal to your interest and write about issues that concern you and voice your hopes, fears and thoughts, each in her own different way.
When I speak of the Notes team, I have to stop and mention Notes designer Rana Wehbe, who tries her best to make the issue trendy, vivid and colourful as much as possible.
All these four powerful women add flavour, exquisite and unique taste to this publication. You may find the fact that this team consists only of the feminine gender a bit puzzling, but it is not all that puzzling, because they have all the masculine power to bring this publication together (of course no offence to the other gender).
In the end and before our closing issue, I would like to take this opportunity to thank them all and to thank Notes faithful readers, the new ones, the old ones and the coming ones.
