This month we answer your fashion dilemmas.
Dilemma: "Is it OKto wear a pair of flats to a cocktail party?"
Solution: Yes, you can get away with wearing flats to a cocktail party — you just have to make sure they're super fabulous. Ballet flats are OK if they're covered in exotic skin or glammed up with gold. Make sure they come with plenty of detail - such as bows and straps - and opt for luxe fabrics like suede, velvet or sequins.
Dilemma: "How can I disguise my big bottom?"
Solution: To create a smaller derrière, choose trousers that have a lower waistband (like these low rise jeans from New Look) and are side fastening - it cuts the size of your bottom in half.
Also, opt for a wide leg as this helps to keep your proportions in balance. Jackets should be nipped in at the waist, flaring out over your hips and skimming your bottom.
Believe it or not, pencil skirts are great for big bottoms - they cling in all the right places, and keep your shape feminine. If it's well-tailored it will hug everything in.
Avoid loose fabrics in large prints as they give no support to bulgy areas, and the prints will only make you look bigger.
