Dennis Trillo, Carlene Aguilar and Cristine Reyes are caught in a love triangle

Showbizlandia is abuzz with the story of Carlene Aguilar, former Miss World candidate, "attacking" young actress Cristine Reyes. The reason for Carlene's unladylike demeanour? She alleges Cristine and actor Dennis Trillo are having an affair. While Carlene and Dennis are not married, they are parents to a recently born child.

Cristine and Dennis, meanwhile, have consistently denied rumours linking the two of them. So what was Carlene's beef? In videos of the confrontation, Carlene was caught whispering something to Cristine. In that whisper, according to news reports, Carlene warned Cristine to back off and told her rival that Dennis only wants her for sex.

Slander suit

Cristine has since filed a slander suit against Carlene. As the battle rages between the two, Dennis has been inconspicuously silent.

Separated

He told the media before that he and Carlene had already separated, but the ex-beauty queen's actions belie that.

Erik Santos is scheduled to perform two concerts in the UAE this month. On November 22 he will be in Dubai with comedienne-singer Kaye Brosas for a guest appearance in the Kabayan Rockin' Dubai concert.

The event, headlined by rock bands Aegis and ItchyWorms, will be held at the Wonderland Park, Near Grand Hyatt in Garhoud.

The next night, November 23, he will be in the capital for Kumustahan sa Abu Dhabi, a major annual event that brings big-name artists from Manila to entertain Filipinos who have made their home in the UAE.

He will be joining concert queen Pops Fernandez and top comedienne-singer Kaye Brosas on the stage for a night of world-class music at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club and Equestrian Club near Al Jazira Park.

Katrina trumps Marian

Katrina Halili showed why she is so far the only two-time winner of Philippines' Sexiest title, according to FHM magazine.

The sultry actress had an interesting bikini showdown with Marian Rivera on Marimar, the most watched primetime programme on Philippine TV. Although Marian held her own, many viewers believe Katrina exuded confidence and appeal in her revealing blue two piece.

Uncomfortable

Marian revealed before the much talked about showdown that she was at first uncomfortable about having to wear a bikini - and the discomfort showed. Even so, Marimar, the character played by Marian, was stunning as usual. Katrina was just sexier.
