Full-fledged men Shawn Stockman, Wanya Morris and Nathan Morris have come a long way since their childhood growing up in Philadelphia. As Boyz II Men, they have achieved phenomenal success selling more than 90 million albums and 50 million singles to date.

Who could forget End of the Road, which broke Elvis Presley's Heartbreak Hotel record as the longest running single at No 1 thanks to 13 weeks at the top? Not content, Boyz II Men went on to beat their own record by teaming up with Mariah Carey for One Sweet Day which remains the longest running No 1 single on Billboard with 16 weeks to beat.

Will this be your first time performing in Dubai and how does it feel to be coming here?

WANYA: Well yes, this is my first time in Dubai — a much anticipated trip, I might add. I expect to definitely take a lot of pictures to remember my stay forever until you guys invite us back because, after the show, I'm pretty sure you will. And oh boy do I plan on sampling the night life! I've heard a few things and I want to experience them.

SHAWN: Yeah, we are definitely looking forward to performing in Dubai. We are excited to take the trip and to perform for those fans we don't get to see too often.

Tell us a little bit about what to expect from the concert.

WANYA: We are going to bring an amazing show to Dubai with some of our classic tunes and a few new ones. You can expect great energy from us.

How does it feel to still be playing sell-out shows around the world?

NATHAN: We are truly blessed to have been able to have success in this industry. It is very hard work and we couldn't have done it without our fans' constant support.

What are you most proud of as a band so far?

SHAWN: Celebrating our 15-year anniversary as a group has been a dream for us. We have been in the music industry for so long and we feel it has been an amazing accomplishment to stay together and interesting for all this time.

How would you describe your new album The Remedy?

NATHAN: The Remedy is our gift to our fans. We wanted to be able to give them something special and new. It's a mix of upbeat dance songs as well as signature love songs.

One Sweet Day with Mariah Carey was a massive success. What was it like to collaborate with her and did you ever dream it would be such a hit?

WANYA: Mariah Carey is a truly gifted and talented artist. She was amazing to work with. We feel we have been very lucky to collaborate with the artists we've worked with. They have all had a unique style that we've been able to make beautiful music with.

Are there any artists out there at the moment who you would like to collaborate with in future?

NATHAN: We are always open to working with musical talent. We like to be diverse with our music and different talent always brings something new to the table. We would like a combination of old and new artists, from Tony Bennett to Chris Brown, and of course, who wouldn't like to work with Mary J. (Blige)?

How has your music changed since you first started out in 1988?

NATHAN: We have literally grown from boys to men, and you can certainly hear that maturity in our music. We have grown a lot from when we first started as a group and continue to try new things with our music.

Who has been an influence on your music through the years?

WANYA: Everyone from New Edition, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige, Earth Wind and Fire, and Mariah Carey. We love the new people too: Jay-Z, Beyonce and Chris Brown.

End of the Road was a massive success for you. How do you feel about that song now and do you ever tire of performing it?
WANYA: End of the Road will always be one of our classic and favourite songs. We are very proud of the success End of the Road has had and really enjoy performing it as as long as it makes fans happy we will keep performing it.

Off-stage, what are the dynamics of the group? Who does what and are you all the best of friends?

SHAWN: We are truly a family, we love each other like brothers and also have our little arguments from time to time like brothers, but we can't live without one another. Everybody brings their own unique element to the group that makes Boyz II Men.

You have ventured into clothing, insurance and an independent label, MSM Music Group.

NATHAN: We decided to develop our own label so we can be able to make the ultimate decisions on our own and be able to do everything our way. It is the best feeling.

What other projects and businesses are you currently involved in?

SHAWN: We have our own individual projects. I'm working on my own label and have several artists signed, Nathan manages Megan Rochelle, and Wanya has plenty in the works for the fans.
