Ajram to protect baby from media

Lebanese star Nancy Ajram, who is five months pregnant, says she will shield her baby girl from the spotlight.

Nancy said she "will protect her daughter from the spotlight, so the baby can live a normal life".

She said she has already chosen a name for the baby. It is going to be an Arabic name and is uncommon, she said.

Ajram added "motherhood is not a reason for her to stop her career".

Melissa's duet with Akon

Melissa is a young Lebanese singer who dreams of becoming a big star. A few months ago, she sang at a concert with the US artist Akon's in Beirut.

Last week she performed with Akon again, this time in Cairo's Opera House. In front of more than 15,000 fans, Melissa sang a duet with the hip-hop star.

The song, Habibi (Darling), has not been released yet.

Sleiman becomes a father

Syrian actor Jamal Sleiman recently became the father of a boy.

The actor and his wife had waited six years to have the baby. The boy was born in one of the most expensive hospitals in Beirut.

Sleiman got so emotional the day his son was born that he burst into tears when he heard his son's first cries.
