Frenchie Dy, Sheryn Regis, Rachel Ann Go, Erik Santos and Christian Bautista have all won singing competition titles.
After the success of their US tour, ABS-CBN — The Filipino Channel (TFC) Middle East decided to bring the singers to the Middle East.
Christian Bautista, one of the most promising balladeers in the Philippines, was a finalist at the Star in a Million 2003.
His hits include The Way You Look Tonight and his remake of the famous 1980s song Hands to Heaven.
Sheryn Regis's Come In Out of the Rain is a major hit in the Philippines.
The powerful singer was the runner-up in the Star in a Million 2003. She was the second runner-up in the 2004 Voice of Asia Competition in Kazakhstan.
Then there is Erik Santos, winner of the Aliw Awards Best New Male Recording Artist for 2004 and the ABS-CBN's Star in a Million 2003 Grand Champion.
His performance will include his winning piece This is the Moment and other hits from his first album.
This concert will be a special one for him since his father is an overseas Filipino worker stationed in Saudi Arabia.
Frenchie Dy, Star in a Million 2004 Grand Champion, is the latest addition to this elite league of singers. With a powerful voice like Aretha Franklin, she can render high notes with absolute ease. She is now working on her first album.
Rachel Ann Go, Search for a Star 2003 Grand Champion, is a popular name in the Philippines. Her single from her debut album, Don't Cry Out Loud, is a remake of the 1970s love song and a staple on the radio back home.
John Lloyd and Bea Alonzo will also perform. Their TV soap It Might Be You won the KBP Golden Dove Awards and was nominated for the Asian TV Awards.
Carol Anne Leus, Grand Champion of the TFC Popstar Search here in Dubai, will also be part of the event.
