Inloco will host its first Public Talk in Dubai focused on bringing together a selection of the region’s leading professionals from the city’s art and culture scene.
Taking place at Al Safa Art & Design Library on December 9th 2023, the event will include a series of panel discussions and workshops that delve into the theme of city-scaping in the GCC and the pivotal role that public art plays in underpinning what makes the cities we live in, a home.
The 1-day event will open the stage for leading professionals to reflect on the identities of cities in the Gulf and trace their evolution over the ages. Consisting of six interactive sessions throughout the day, the event will bring together local artists, curators, key opinion leaders, and urbanist experts from across the region including George Katodrytis; Head of Department Of Architecture at American University of Sharjah, Mustafa Khamash; architect and owner of K.art Group, and Evert Verhagen, urbanist, advisor on parks and public space to name a few, plus world-renowned artists Filippo Minelli and Neda Salmanpoor.
Physical attendance is by invitation only; the public can join via webinar. The event's agenda will include a lineup of thought-provoking discussions, panel discussions, and interactive conversations.
