Dubai: The India Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai today marked the country’s vaccination drive crossing the milestone of administering more than 1.5 billion doses of COVID-19 vaccines to people in the country.

This landmark figure was displayed on the facade of the India Pavilion here today.

Earlier this month, India, with a population of 1.4 billion, the second-highest in the world, rolled out COVID-19 vaccine doses for those in the age-group of 15-18 years. Those who are above 60 years, health-care workers and frontline workers will be administered booster shots from January 10 onwards.
