Actor says he’s experimented for his role of a sniper in this thriller

Ten films old, Vikranth believes that his look and role in Gethu are the best.
Vikranth has experimented in this film not just with how he looks but also with his character.
He plays Bull, a sniper on a mission. “It’s an interesting role, not the regular Tamil villain who gets beaten up,” says Vikranth.
Bull has been expelled from MARCOS (Marine Commando Force, a special unit of the Indian Navy).
“All heroes want their characters looking raw and good on-screen, when are villains given that chance? Bull of Gethu looks great.”
From working out at the gym for four months and undergoing a makeover — complete with green lenses — Vikranth says he enjoyed the preparations that went into becoming Bull, an unconventional antagonist with style.
The trailers reveal a tough looking Vikranth with a menacing gaze. “ [Director] Thirukumaran had done all the homework on Bull, I merely followed his instructions.”
Interestingly, Vikranth has few dialogues in the film; he relies on body language to communicate.
“After watching this film, viewers will definitely forget the Vikranth of the past,” says Vikranth, who hopes to do more villainous roles, especially in films opposite actors Vijay [his cousin] and Ajith.
So will Gethu be a turning point in Vikranth’s career?
