Following her break up with Luis Manzano, actress says things are looking up for her

Jennylyn Mercado says she has moved on from her break up with Luis Manzano. With things going well for her career, she has enough to think about and does not have time to look for a new man in her life. Showbiz tsismis catches up with her:
How are things with you after the break-up?
Things are pretty okay. You don’t recover from a relationship like that pretty quickly, but I’m healing.
What can you say about your ex-boyfriend reuniting with his ex-girlfriend?
I’d rather not talk about it. I guess we have different ways of moving on – some do it quickly than others. Angel is a good friend and I have nothing against their relationship.
In case something happens and Luis decides to go back to you, would you accept him?
That’s an impossibility at this point or in the near future. I am not in the habit of saying things with finality, but at this point no.
People are clamouring for you and your ex-boyfriend (Mark Herras) to get back together again. What can you say about that?
It’s funny, and I mean that in a good way. We’re both single now and we have an ongoing project together, Rhodora X, so people are teasing us. But with all due respect, they are not the ones going to get involved; they will not be investing their time and feelings. I don’t see it happening. Mark and I have become such good friends, yes, but coming back together....again, I don’t want to say things with finality only to end up eating my words in the end, but I am happy where I am now, with how my life is and I don’t have the time to be looking for love. That love that I get from my son and family are enough.
Mark (Herras) is now himself a single parent. Being one, what advice would you give him?
If he would ask, I would say things are going to get tougher, but just be strong. You are living for someone else now. I know he is a strong person and he can manage. It will be disorienting at first, but he will get used to it. He will enjoy it.
Rhodora X seems to be doing well at the ratings, beating its competition. How do you feel about that?
Of course, I am very happy. Everyone on the set is happy...we are all in the mood to work, because our hard work is actually paying off. It’s so hard to please the audience nowadays because the storylines seem to be just repeating themselves with only a fresh new twist. We took a risk with the show’s concept and it’s paying off. We are very happy about that.
