Title may mean speed but that's the only connection, Priyadarshan tells tabloid!

Bollywood director Priyadarshan slammed reports that his latest film Tezz is a rip-off of the Hollywood blockbuster Speed.
"The title may mean speed but that's the only connection," said Priyadarshan in an interview with tabloid!.
Set in the UK, Tezz is billed as a testosterone-charged thriller in which all the action takes place on a London-bound train. A vindictive bomber, a sturdy law-enforcement team and a bunch of unsuspecting passengers are a part of the plot.
"But there's no villain in the film. At the end of the film, the viewers may be confused whether to side with the criminal or the hero in the film. And for the record, it doesn't have anything to do with terrorists — it touches upon illegal immigrants."
Keeping Anil Kapoor company are actor Ajay Devgn and Malayalam matinee-idol Mohanlal.
"Mohanlal is doing a cameo in Tezz. In all, it took longer than usual to film because the weather in London was bad and we had to hire a foreign crew — they are very particular about safety measures. So it took longer than anticipated."
Tezz releases in the UAE Thursday.
