Taking to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, the actress shared a lighthearted tribute to the Hollywood icon, writing:“Brad Pitt. That’s it, that’s the post. IYKYK.”
The cheeky post quickly caught fans' attention, adding to the buzz surrounding the film.
Since its international release on June 27, F1 has garnered critical acclaim and strong audience reviews. Directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick), the film follows Sonny Hayes, a veteran Formula 1 driver portrayed by Brad Pitt, who returns to the racing circuit after a 30-year hiatus.
The film boasts authentic storytelling, bolstered by Formula 1 legend Lewis Hamilton, who co-produced the movie to ensure realism on the track. Its star-studded premiere in London drew A-listers including Tom Cruise, further heightening global anticipation.
F1 features a stellar cast alongside Pitt, including Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, and Sarah Niles. Bardem plays Ruben Cervantes, a former teammate who now owns a struggling F1 team and convinces Hayes to return to help revive its fortunes.
The narrative centers on Hayes’s comeback after a devastating accident ended his once-promising career. As he teams up with rising star Joshua Pearce (played by Damson Idris), Hayes is forced to navigate both personal struggles and a sport transformed by time.
Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Lewis Hamilton, the film also boasts a high-octane soundtrack by Hans Zimmer, blending orchestral and electronic elements. Tracks by Ed Sheeran, ROSÉ, and RAYE add contemporary flair to the adrenaline-fueled story.
