Netherlands to join Expo 2020

Netherlands would be participating in Dubai Expo 2020, the first World Expo in the Middle East, it was confirmed on Monday. The Dutch were ranked ninth on the Global Innovation Index and the UAE plans to join them in the top ten by 2021. In a statement on the announcement, Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Expo 2020 Committee, said: “We welcome the participation of The Netherlands, an important collaborator on the road to Expo 2020 Dubai and beyond.”
