At the 2019 Dubai International Motor Show, Cadillac set a premium benchmark with the regional introduction of three new models including the first-ever CT5 Sport Sedan alongside the first-ever XT6 and revamped XT5 SUV.

Opening up new market segments, the fresh 2020 line-up marks a new direction for Cadillac and perfectly embodies power, presence and performance whilst keeping the true spirit of the brand at its core.

“We wanted to use the incredible platform that 2019 Dubai International Motor Show offers to introduce our most aggressive line-up to date to our Middle East customer base,” said Christian Soemmer, Managing Director Cadillac International Operations and Cadillac Middle East. “Every element of the first-ever Cadillac CT5 is focused on delivering an unrivaled experience in a sport sedan for our customers, we also debuted the first-ever XT6 and our revamped global best seller the XT5 completing our full SUV line-up. With even more choice with an XT4, XT5, XT6 and iconic Escalade, our customers can choose from a variety of Cadillac SUVs that all offer a compelling blend of spaciousness, safety and convenience features.”

Cadillac CT5

The CT5 charts a new direction for Cadillac and is the epitome of luxury in the modern age. The all-new sport sedan advances the brand’s award-winning legacy with a distinctive fusion of design, performance and comfort, supported by Cadillac’s latest technologies.

The model range includes Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport, with a Platinum package available on Premium Luxury and Sport models allowing customers to tailor the car to their style preferences with unique design and trim.

Advanced built-in technology and connectivity in the new CT5 offers drivers a world-leading in-vehicle experience. This is expressed in everything from vehicle controls that conform to the driver’s driving style to the latest, more personal Cadillac user experience, providing more intuitive ways to interface with the Cadillac Infotainment System - including phone pairing via Near Field Communication and a new rotary controller.

Building on the strengths of the superb RWD architecture that underpins Cadillac’s award-winning rear-wheel-drive sedans, the first-ever CT5 is designed to deliver an exhilarating driving experience while maintaining the brand’s signature blend of performance, comfort and refinement.

The CT5 is powered by a 2.0-litre Twin-Scroll Turbo engine and 10-speed automatic transmission with Electronic Precision Shift. Cadillac’s powerful 3.0-litre Twin Turbo V6 is available on Premium Luxury and Sport models, rated at an estimated 335 horsepower and 542Nm of torque. Low-inertia turbochargers and a manifold-integrated liquid-to-air intercooling system help the engine produce exceptional power with virtually no lag and sustain it across most of the rpm band. Like the 2.0-litre Turbo, it is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission with Electronic Precision Shift.

Cadillac XT6

Cadillac also turned heads at the prestigious motor show with its all-new XT6 which completes its 2020 luxurious SUV line-up. The XT6 joins the revamped XT5, XT4 and the Escalade, offering Middle East customers even more options when picking their next Cadillac.

Created to make the most of passengers’ time on the road, the new XT6 three-row crossover centers on a luxurious, adaptable and connected cabin, complemented with responsive handling and a comprehensive suite of standard and available safety technologies. Every inch of the XT6 has been carefully considered and developed to offer customers a refined and comfortable place to connect and enjoy the ride. The new range includes Premium Luxury and Sport models, giving customers the option for more customized looks with unique exteriors and interiors to match.

Cadillac XT5

The revamped 2020 Cadillac XT5 comes equipped with a new turbocharged engine, enhanced technologies and revised design cues that coalesce in distinctive trims to offer customers greater choice in matching this luxury crossover to their driving requirements. It raises the bar, delivering an exhilarating driving experience paired with the sense of solidity and functionality of an SUV. The XT5 range starts with the well-equipped Luxury model, followed by the Premium Luxury and Sport models offering unique takes on Cadillac design and driving dynamics.

The brand’s first-ever compact SUV architecture, the XT4 gave visitors to the show the chance to see first-hand how its new 2.0-litre Turbo engine and advanced technology, delivers expressive design, confident performance and spacious accommodations.

Raising the bar with its bold design, powerful capability and luxurious accommodations at the show was the Escalade – the first Cadillac full-size SUV. The Escalade is available in standard and extended-length Escalade ESV models, with the latter featuring a 356mm longer wheelbase and approximately 518mm greater overall length. The increased length enhances space for third-row passengers and more than doubles the cargo space behind them. The Escalade is offered in Premium Luxury and Platinum trims.
