“For this year’s Dubai International Motor Show, we wanted to give our fan base a true GMC experience, and we did just that – in addition to showcasing our bold 2020 line-up on stand, we also put a big focus on our new accessories and personalisation options. With our upgraded offering, customers can now take full advantage and completely customize their vehicle to suit their adventurous lifestyle,” said Kelly MacDonald, Chief Marketing Officer, General Motors Africa and Middle East.

Concepts preview GMC accessories

Building on the popular Desert Fox concept revealed at the last Dubai Motor Show in 2017, GMC continues to bring some of the best vehicles to the region’s biggest motor show. This year, the premium brand did not disappoint, showing off two brand new unique concepts on the stand which have been created specifically with the Middle East customer in mind.

The concept Sierra AT4 with the additional trailer showcases the ultimate camping machine, with every element meticulously detailed to ensure its occupants have all their home comforts when out on an adventure. With a host of GMC accessories including a MultiPro Tailgate Audio System by Kicker, Mounted off-road Sport Bar, Auxiliary Accessory Trailer Camera and a tent that fits perfectly in the bed of the Sierra. The vehicle is also fitted with a fridge, sink and cooker and many other elements bringing a whole new meaning to outdoor cooking!

Further highlighting the brand’s strong link and over nine decades of passion to the region, the vehicle is wrapped with the map of the Middle East paying homage to its only export location outside of North America that GMC calls home.

Commenting on the concepts, Kelly MacDonald, Chief Marketing Officer, General Motors Africa and Middle East said “Building on our tradition of bringing some of the best concepts to the Dubai International Motor Show we wanted to make another bold statement with the Sierra - a vehicle that already stands out from the crowd. We wanted to go bold, and we did just that, highlighting not only the number of GMC accessories our customers have the ability to put on their Sierra, but the level of unique customizations they can do to the vehicles.”

Another standout on the GMC stand is the Yukon concept, taking premium and capability to the next level, with a number of accessories including Front and Rear GMC Emblem Set and a Roof-Mounted Hull-A-Port Pro™ Kayak Carrier by Thule®, giving the premium SUV an even bolder look.
