Dubai: With many felines still seeking a loving home, Dubai-resident L. R. Cris highlights some of the most urgent cases.

Leila

“Leila is the most important for us at the moment. She was rescued from Bur Dubai as she was pregnant at the time and was having difficulties giving birth to her kittens. She is 18 months old and is now fully recovered and healthy. She gave birth to five kittens, who have all been adopted. She is a lovely cat and requires to be homed urgently."

Daisy

“Daisy is a four-year-old female cat who was rescued from the main road in the Al Quoz Area. She narrowly escaped death and having lived on the roads, she is very timid and shy. Additionally, she does not like other cats and so we are being forced to keep her alone in a bathroom. She would require a patient owner."

Princess

“Princess is a seven-year-old female who was first abandoned as a small kitten. She does not like to be with other cats, too, and so has to be kept in a room on her own. Despite her age, she is active and playful and enjoys human company, especially watching television with you."

Diana

“Diana is a two-year-old female who was abandoned with a severe eye infection. We took her to the vet, and the immediate treatment helped save the eye. She is confident, but prefers to be on her own and likes indoor living."

Paul

“Paul is a little over two years old and was rescued as a young kitten. He is a loving cat, who loves to sit next to you."

Elvis

“Elvis is an 11-month-old male who is a gorgeously, cuddly and loving kitten with a crooked tail. When he was abandoned, he was taken to the vet, who advised that the tail had been broken."

Jolene

“Jolene is a five-month-old female kitten who is extremely confident for her age and loves meeting people. She prefers to be an only kitten, though, and so we need to find her a home urgently.

“We never home cats with any infectious diseases. We make sure they are all checked out and safe to be homed. I don’t want to give out any cats that are sneezing or unwell.”
