Defacing Jebel Hafeet could easily make it lose its appeal. At the same time, authorities are partly to blame for failing to ensure there are adequate bins. Image Credit: Almas Hashmi/Gulf News Reader

I went to Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain recently and I would say that the place is beautiful. I was appreciating its beauty when I noticed graffiti and litter all around.

The place has been spoiled by inconsiderate people who sign their names on walls and ruin its beauty. What exactly are they trying to achieve?

As for the garbage, not only did people not bother disposing of it properly, but I also noticed that there were very few rubbish bins considering the size of the place and the number of people visiting it every day.
